print('Hello World!'). That's when it all started- with just that simple line of code that is all so familiar to so many of us programmers. Many years ago my father first encouraged me to learn python. From there my interest for programming grew, to the point where I have now become obsessed with programming. Late nights working on troubleshooting, developing code and participating in competitions around the world have lead me to the point where I feel like I can share some tips for beginners and experienced programmers alike.
In this blog, I really hope to provide some value through recommending resources, competitions and creating a community of like minded people who love programming to share ideas, innovate and maybe encourage a few other people to explore programming. For those people who doubt themselves, telling themselves, "I'm already 54, I'm too old to be a programmer". I would say just go for it. It may seem cliche, but all you really need to succeed in programming is hard work, grit and persistence! It's really that simple. No silver bullet, no magic - just hard work, grit and persistence.
You might be thinking, "who is this guy in thinking he can give advice as a junior developer". My response to this would be that, sure, I might not have as much experience as a senior developer, but so what? If this blog completely fails at least I would have learned something. I would consider this blog to be a success if it resulted in just one person trying programming or provides value to anyone.
Thank you so much for spending the time to read this! I really hope you learned something! Please feel free to comment below or contact me - I would love to hear from you!
